Payment Policy

1) Payment methods

• We currently accept Visa and Mastercard debit/credit cards issued in supported countries.
• Other methods (PayPal, Apple/Google Pay, BNPL) are not available at this time.

2) Authorisation, Strong Customer Authentication (3-D Secure) & card holds

• Payments are processed via a PCI-DSS compliant gateway using 3-D Secure (SCA) where supported by your issuer.
• AVS/CVV checks and anti-fraud screening may apply. In some cases the gateway may place a temporary authorisation hold which reverses automatically per your bank’s timelines.
• We charge the card at order confirmation (no pre-orders/backorders).
• If verification fails or risk is high, we may cancel and refund the order or request additional verification (see section 10).

3) Currency, pricing & taxes

• Prices can be viewed in GBP / EUR / USD / CAD / AUD / NZD for convenience. Unless otherwise stated, charges are processed in GBP. Your bank may use its own exchange rate/fees.
• Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders are not affected.
• International customers are responsible for any local taxes/duties at import (see Shipping).

5) Failed or declined payments

• Check card details, available funds, and complete any 3-D Secure prompts within the time window.
• If the issue persists, contact your bank and try again or use another eligible card.
• Orders are confirmed only after successful authorisation/capture. Unpaid orders may auto-cancel.

6) Order changes & cancellations

• We can usually amend or cancel an order before dispatch. Email us ASAP at love@oh-yes-toys.co.uk.
• Once dispatched, please see Returns & Refunds for options.

7) Refunds

• Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
• Timing: up to 14 days after approval/receipt of return (your bank/card may take an extra 1–2 billing cycles to post).
• If the original card is cancelled/expired, your bank should route funds per their policy; we can’t change the destination account.

8) Promo codes, store credit & gift cards

• Promo codes must be entered at checkout and can’t be applied retroactively. Unless stated, one code per order, non-transferable, non-refundable.
• Store credit (where applicable) is non-redeemable for cash and subject to expiry if stated.
• Gift cards/vouchers may be introduced in the future and will be governed by the terms shown at purchase.

• Our store is for adults aged 18+. We operate an on-site age gate.
• We may request government-issued ID or additional checks to verify age, identity and billing details before dispatch.
• Refusal or failure to complete required checks may lead to order cancellation and refund (minus irrecoverable fees where applicable).
