This Warranty Policy explains how Oh Yes Toys handles manufacturer defects, faulty products, warranty claims, evidence requirements, repairs, replacements, and product safety checks.
We want every customer to receive products that work as expected. If your item develops a genuine manufacturer fault under normal intended use, Oh Yes Toys will review your claim fairly and guide you through the next steps.
This Warranty Policy applies to eligible products purchased directly from oh-yes-toys.co.uk. It explains what is covered, what is excluded, how to make a claim, what evidence we may need, and what remedies may be available.
This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Return Policy, Shipping Policy, Payment Policy, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Age Verification Policy.
Unless a product page or brand warranty states otherwise, our standard warranty period is 12 months from delivery. This applies to eligible products purchased directly from Oh Yes Toys by adult customers aged 18 or over.
Some brands may offer a longer or different warranty period. Where a brand provides a longer valid warranty, you may benefit from that brand’s warranty terms, registration process, or direct claim system.
Manufacturing defects, faulty electronics, motor failure, charging circuit defects, or premature mechanical failure under normal intended use.
Wear and tear, misuse, impact damage, liquid ingress beyond rating, poor cleaning, incompatible chargers, or unauthorised repairs.
Warranty cover is intended for genuine manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that appear during the warranty period under normal intended use.
For electronic items, this may include controller faults, PCB defects, motor failure, charging circuit defects, or power issues where the correct charger, cable, and care instructions were followed. For mechanical products, this may include premature failure of moving parts not caused by misuse, excessive force, poor storage, or inadequate care.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic marks that do not affect function, accidental damage, impact damage, crushing, pet damage, child damage, fire damage, sand or dust contamination beyond rating, liquid damage where the product is not waterproof, or use beyond the stated IP rating.
The warranty also excludes misuse, improper cleaning, improper storage, chemical damage, incompatible lubricants or cleaners, overheating, unauthorised repairs, opened casings, modified products, altered serial numbers, missing lot codes, or hygiene breaches that prevent safe inspection.
To make a warranty claim, email love@oh-yes-toys.co.uk with the subject line “Warranty claim — Order #XXXX”.
Include your order number, contact email used at checkout, product name, description of the issue, when the issue occurs, how long the product has been used, and any supporting photos or videos. Please wait for our instructions before sending anything back.
We may ask for clear photos or video showing the fault, photos of the product, charger, cable, packaging, serial number, lot code, order information, and any visible damage.
For hygiene-sensitive products, we may also ask for confirmation that the item has been cleaned, stored correctly, and handled safely before any inspection or return is considered.
If a product arrives completely non-functional, please report it within 48 hours of delivery with photos or video where possible. Dead on arrival claims are prioritised so we can review the issue quickly.
We may ask you to confirm that the item has been charged correctly, that travel lock features are disabled, that the cable is connected properly, or that basic setup instructions have been followed.
If a defect is confirmed, we may repair the product, replace it with the same model, replace it with an equivalent model, issue store credit, or provide a refund where appropriate.
The available remedy depends on product type, stock availability, product age, brand warranty rules, inspection outcome, fault type, and applicable consumer rights. Remedy choice is made at our reasonable discretion, subject to law.
We will advise whether a return is required. For confirmed faults, we may cover reasonable return postage where the return is pre-authorised by us, either through a label or reimbursement of a standard tracked service.
The item remains your responsibility until received by our warehouse. Please pack securely, include the required information, and keep proof of postage and tracking.
Use only the supplied or compatible charger and cable. Damage caused by incompatible chargers, excessive voltage, poor charging habits, exposed wires, overheating, wet charging ports, or charging against instructions is not covered.
Battery capacity naturally reduces over time with normal use. Moderate battery degradation from normal use is not usually considered a manufacturer defect.
Customers must respect the product’s stated waterproof or water-resistant rating. Products that are not rated waterproof should not be submerged or exposed to water beyond manufacturer guidance.
Liquid ingress beyond the stated rating, failure to close charging ports, use in unsuitable conditions, or cleaning against instructions is not covered by warranty.
Consumable products such as lubricants, cleaners, oils, gels, sprays, condoms, batteries, and similar items are not usually covered once opened unless the issue is clearly manufacturing-related.
Damage caused by incompatible lubricants, cleaners, oils, chemicals, or accessories is not covered. Always check compatibility before use.
Some brands operate their own warranty processes and may require direct registration, serial numbers, product photos, proof of purchase, or direct communication with the manufacturer.
Where a third-party brand warranty applies, we may guide you through the process or ask you to follow the brand’s warranty procedure. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Because many products sold by Oh Yes Toys are intimate products, hygiene rules apply to warranty inspections. Products must be cleaned safely and packaged appropriately before any return or inspection.
We may refuse inspection or warranty handling where a product is soiled, unsafe to inspect, contaminated, missing protective packaging, or otherwise presents a hygiene or safety risk.
